SYMBOL PROJECT #2

In my GRAPHIC DESIGN IV class, we explored the use and methods of symbol making. For this assignment, we were asked to take a celebrity/famous person and use what made them famous in designs meant to capture that celebrity's fame. I chose Jim Lee (C.E.O. of Image Studios) who is a former penciler of comic books and now uses his knowledge of the business to operate the second largest comic book company on the market. In this particular image, I isolated Jim's tool in a way that seems as though it were ripped from his head. This is meant to illustrate his connection to his medium, as though it were a part of him.
